Radish plants are used in organic farming because of their allelopathic effects on weeds. As a result, the effect of radish plants on corn plants was investigated using radish plants as a pre-plant in corn plant production and trialing weed applications on corn plants without using herbicides. Weed removal, which is part of corn plant maintenance, was accomplished using four different applications: hand hoeing, hand + tractor hoeing, tractor hoeing, and control (no hoeing). The experiment was conducted using a split-trial design. Except for the tassel emergence time, it was discovered that the radish as a previous crop had a significant positive effect on the investigated corn characteristics, such as first ear height, plant height, ear length, number of rows per ear, number of grains per ear row, and grain yield. Hand hoeing and hand + tractor hoeing weed removal applications were distinct from other applications and had a positive effect on maize yield components.
