About the Journal
The Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) is an international, open-access scientific journal that operates under a double-blind peer-review system. Since 2013, it has been published monthly by Turkish Science and Technology Publishing (TURSTEP).
TURJAF aims to disseminate high-quality original research articles and comprehensive review papers that make significant and novel contributions to all areas of agricultural and food sciences. Submitted manuscripts are expected to demonstrate a strong level of originality, scientific rigor, innovation, and broad relevance to the scientific community.
The journal accepts manuscripts written in either English or Turkish and welcomes both experimental and theoretical studies, provided they offer new insights and advance current knowledge in their respective fields.
In line with its scope and publication standards, TURJAF considers only original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. Detailed guidelines for manuscript preparation and submission are available in the “For Authors” section of the journal.
The journal does not consider for evaluation manuscripts that are preliminary, purely confirmatory, or inconclusive in nature. In addition, case reports, studies with strictly local relevance, and manuscripts limited to new records, species identification, or taxonomic descriptions without broader scientific implications fall outside the journal’s scope and are not accepted for review.
Ownership and Management
The Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) is a scholarly, peer-reviewed academic journal owned and administered by Turkish Science and Technology Publishing (TURSTEP). The Publisher is responsible for providing the organizational, technical, and administrative infrastructure necessary to ensure the high scientific and ethical quality of the journal.
Publication Frequency
TURJAF is published on a monthly basis, with twelve issues released annually. Each issue is published during the first week of the corresponding month.
Online Access
All content published in the Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) is available online with open access, allowing readers worldwide to freely and permanently access the journal through its official website:
